1. Improve spoken fluency and confidence in communication
The course aims to help teachers express themselves more naturally and confidently in spoken English. Through daily conversation practice, role plays, and interactive tasks, participants will learn to maintain fluid discussions about familiar topics, describe experiences, and give opinions clearly. They will also receive feedback on pronunciation and intonation to improve clarity and rhythm. By the end of the week, teachers will feel more at ease using English in professional contexts, such as staff meetings, international exchanges, or classroom discussions.
2. Strengthen listening comprehension and real-world understanding
Participants will develop their ability to understand English spoken at a natural pace in a variety of accents and contexts. Using authentic audio materials—such as classroom dialogues, short interviews, and podcasts—they will learn to identify key information, infer meaning from context, and recognize different speech patterns. The course will also focus on strategies to cope with unknown words or fast speech, building confidence to follow real conversations or training sessions conducted in English.
3. Expand vocabulary and grammar for everyday and educational contexts
This objective focuses on enriching the teacher’s functional vocabulary and reinforcing essential grammar structures needed for intermediate-level communication. Lessons will include common phrases and expressions for daily interaction as well as specific language for the educational setting—such as giving instructions, managing the classroom, or explaining activities. Grammar work will emphasize accuracy and flexibility, helping teachers form complex sentences and link ideas coherently. Practical exercises will ensure immediate application of new language in spoken and written tasks.
4. Develop practical teaching tools to integrate English into the classroom
Beyond personal language development, the course will also equip teachers with techniques to promote English use among their students. Participants will explore simple communicative activities, classroom English routines, and strategies to create an immersive language environment, even with limited resources. By sharing ideas and designing short tasks, teachers will leave the course with a toolkit of adaptable materials and renewed motivation to use English as a natural part of their teaching practice.
