1. Strengthen fluency and accuracy in spoken communication

EThe course aims to help participants move beyond basic exchanges and develop the ability to express opinions, narrate experiences, and discuss ideas more clearly and spontaneously. Through conversation workshops, role plays, and problem-solving tasks, learners will practice expressing emotions, agreeing and disagreeing politely, and adapting their speech to various contexts. Special attention will be given to pronunciation, intonation, and natural interaction patterns, enabling participants to sound more fluid and authentic when communicating in Spanish.

2. Expand vocabulary and reinforce key grammatical structures

Participants will broaden their active vocabulary to include topics such as travel, education, health, culture, and technology. Grammar practice will focus on consolidating intermediate structures—verb tenses like past, present, and future; reflexive verbs; comparatives; and the use of the subjunctive in common expressions. Exercises will always be communicative and contextualized, encouraging learners to apply grammar naturally while speaking and writing. By the end of the course, participants will be able to express a wider range of ideas with improved grammatical control.

3. Improve comprehension and written expression

Listening and reading activities will expose learners to authentic Spanish used in real-life contexts, such as short articles, podcasts, and everyday conversations. These tasks will enhance their ability to identify main ideas, details, and opinions in spoken or written texts. Writing workshops will focus on creating clear, cohesive paragraphs—such as informal emails, descriptions, or opinion pieces—using connectors and transition words effectively. Through guided feedback, participants will gain confidence in both understanding and producing intermediate-level Spanish texts.

4. Deepen cultural and intercultural awareness through language

The course integrates cultural exploration as an essential part of language learning. Participants will discuss aspects of life in Spanish-speaking countries—customs, traditions, education, and values—and compare them with their own cultural contexts. These discussions will highlight the role of culture in communication and provide tools to interact respectfully and effectively across cultural boundaries. By experiencing Spanish as both a linguistic and cultural system, learners will gain a more authentic and holistic command of the language.
